Jurassic Park Storyline

On a remote island, a wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening the attraction to the public, he invites a top paleontologist, a paleobotanist, a mathematician/theorist, and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park — and help calm anxious investors. However, their park visit is anything but tranquil as the park's security system breaks down, the prehistoric creatures break out, and the excitement builds to surprising results. Jurassic Park trivia

The name of character "Lewis Dodgson" is a fusion of the "Alice in Wonderland" author's pen-name 'Lewis Carroll' (qv), and his real name "Charles Dodgson".
In the shots of the gift shop, clearly visible is a book entitled "The Making of Jurassic Park" by 'Don Shay' (qv) and Jody Duncan. This title was published but tells the behind the scenes story of how the film was made. Jody Duncan also wrote the "Making Of" book for _The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)_ (qv).
'Steven Spielberg' (qv) considered hiring 'Bob Gurr' (qv) to do the full size dinosaurs because he was impressed with his apes in the "Kongfrontation" ride at Universal Studios.

In the original script, the T-Rex skeleton in the lobby was hooked up to pulleys like a giant marionette. In the ending, Grant was going to man the controls and act as puppeteer, using the skeleton's head and feet to crush the raptors.
