Harsh Times Storyline

Jim Davis is an ex-Army Ranger who finds himself slipping back into his old life of petty crime after a job offer from the LAPD evaporates. His best friend is pressured by his girlfriend Sylvia to find a job, but Jim is more interested in hanging out and making cash from small heists, while trying to get a law enforcement job so he can marry his Mexican girlfriend.

Harsh Times goofs

CONT: In the scene where Jim holds Flaco and his crew to gun point, we see both Jim and Mike walk towards the car. In one shot we see Jim insulting Patty while Mike has just closed his passenger door, sitting inside the car. In a following shot we clearly see Mike standing outside his door waving to Letty while opening it.
CONT: When Jim learns he has been rejected from the LAPD, Mike suggests its pretty obvious what has happened, at which point Jim raises his hands in confusion. The following shot shows Jims hands firm on the wheel before raising them and shaking his head in the same manner.
CONT: The length of Mike's facial hair varies between shots, especially in the scene at the end of the film when he's sitting in the car outside the dealers' house.
CHAR: When Jim and Mike go to see Toussant he uses his key to open the door however you can see that the door isn't enough shut.
CREW: In the scene where Jim’s car gets pulled over by two cops, a shot showing Officer Leo walking up to the car reveals a crew member visible to the left of the second officer (far left of the screen).
